Attempting to fix some cracks. Mixed some of the clay body with some bisque fix. I know you can make your own but I don’t have the materials to do so and the time. Smeared it all up I there and tried my best to push the material in the cracks and a little beyond. I have had very good success with paper clay but I’m interested in trying something new. Some folks swear by this stuff and I’m hoping they take.

Some new work for the wood kiln. The works are inspired by basket making and quilting patterns. Lots of different clays and slips and I’m hoping to glaze a couple too with some matte finishes.

Wood fired goblet with a slip that’s been really nice in the wood kiln. Reds, oranges and pinks. It reacts really well with heavy wood ash, as well in softer areas.
