Had a blast @sawtoothschool firing their 🐈 kiln. What a wonderful art center. Thanks so much for having me out and big thanks to @powenliuceramics for hosting me and showing me around. I had some real nice conversations with everyone at the sawtooth and the seagrove community. The kiln was a pleasure to fire. It was my first trip to seagrove and that was the highlight to a great week!

Haven’t been making much, studio is in the works. Anyway here are some pots from some recent firings. Hoping to get the studio done for spring. It’s been crazy moving and having none stop construction and landscaping for the past 8 months but we are nearing the end.

I’ll be teaching a wood firing workshop @sawtoothschool in March. We will be firing their catenary arch wood kiln and introducing soda or salt! So if you’re in the Winston Salem area or would like to travel to a rich historical clay area registration is open!
