Final stoke to the 5th firing in the train kiln. What a crew. Learned some new things. I will also make some changes. Coming from a naborigama, various types of cross drafts and anagama kilns this kiln style is foreign to me but has been a wonderful learning experience. #woodfiredpottery
Shino slip looking good. The studio is getting closer been almost a year in the works. Looking forward to be making work soon. I have so many ideas and thoughts that I have been thinking about. #woodfiredceramics
Several black ones from the wood firing I did at sawtooth. Some nice metallic surfaces along with some soft flashing on the light stoneware.

Had a blast @sawtoothschool firing their 🐈 kiln. What a wonderful art center. Thanks so much for having me out and big thanks to @powenliuceramics for hosting me and showing me around. I had some real nice conversations with everyone at the sawtooth and the seagrove community. The kiln was a pleasure to fire. It was my first trip to seagrove and that was the highlight to a great week!
